Ancient Lights is a collaborative scholars' and artists' celebration of the heritage of Western civilization, in Native America, Early America, and ancient Minoan Crete. Its pages range from geology, ecology, Time Lines and maps to rare artifacts, music, audio and film clips, original texts, natural history, and American poetry. Ancient Lights also features a 9-chapter study of Minoan Cretan lunar/solar astronomy and civilization called Calendar House, including similar resources and hundreds of rare and scientific illustrations. Full bibliographies, teaching resources and discussion forums complement its American and Minoan pages.
